This weekend was a busy one for the monkey girl! Eloise and I made the trip to PI on Thursday afternoon so we could get up early and garage sale with Aunt Lucy and Amy on Friday. We got some great deals including some new Legos, clothes for next fall, Mr. Potato Head and an Eloise sized table and chairs. Saturday morning we hit a few more sales with Grandma Margie. Eloise really likes the new crib that Grandpa Gary made with parts from the Thomforde kids' crib. She even gets her own room and G&G's now!
Daddy came to Pine Island Saturday afternoon and we all headed to Amy's for a surprise anniversary party for Aunt Barbie and Deaner's 30th. They were very surprised! We even took along the dresses that Grandma Margie, Aunt Lucy and I wore in the wedding. Grandma Margie and I made a happy anniversary sign and someone turned off the oven when Grandma tried to bake her lasagna....oh well, good thing the convection works! This morning we got up (some of us earlier than necessary....) and Daddy went to the U of M for state History Day.while we went to visit Granny after breakfast and a morning nap. She was very happy to see Eloise and Eloise helped Granny out by inspecting her wheelchair. After lunch Eloise and I headed back to Mankato. It was a very fun but busy weekend and Miss E is fast asleep already!
