Wednesday I was taking some video of Miss E. playing her piano. I was trying to capture how hard she is working on grabbing things with her hands. It has been her big project this week. She gets better each day at having more control over her arms and hands and reaches for items with intention. On our walks she likes to play with her pink elephant, grabbing it, hanging onto it and even bringing it to her mouth for a little chew. Today it looked as though she was snuggling it before falling asleep, however I'm pretty certain that she was mainly trying to suck her thumb. The elephant just happened to be in her hand so she gave it a hug.
Anyways, while playing her piano she made her Daddy proud by filling her pants, quite loudly. Then a little later we were having tummy time and she let out a nice burp. Lucky for you I stopped the video just before she had a big 'ol spit-up all over. Maybe another day I'll catch one of those on video and share with you!
