snow & cookies!

Winter has finally arrived after our long and beautifully warm fall. Eloise seems to love playing in the snow and we are excited to be able to go sledding during Christmas break. This past weekend we also got to sled a little at Grandpa Gary & Grandma Margie's. A forecasted snowstorm changed our cookie baking plans. Instead of driving to PI after school on Friday, Eloise and I made the trip Friday morning and beat the snow. This gave us some extra time to play in the snow and get a head start on baking our cookies! Saturday, the Thomfordes came over and the kids had a great time baking and playing. Eloise enjoyed tasting the cookies and tried very hard to get one more cookie from Grandma!
