12 months....and 1 week

So I'm a little late in getting this posted but things were a little crazy getting ready for company and Eloise's birthday party last weekend. Here it is....the BIG post about Miss Eloise turning TWELVE MONTHS! It has been a wild ride this past year and we have loved E more and more each day. She brings so much laughter, fun, love and life to our home. Only Walter disagrees that she has been an amazing addition to our little family.

Here are some highlights of the past month:

• Height: 31"
• Weight: 21 lb. 14 oz.
• Number of teeth: 4 (two top and two bottom)
• Favorite foods: raspberries, strawberries (still), peaches, ground beef, chicken, ice cream and CAKE
• Words: Mama, Dada, no-no, da (dog), Tay Tay (Taylor)
• Climbing on, sitting on and climbing off her walk behind elephant toy
• Playing outside with her walk behind toys, chalk, swimming in her pool and going down her slide or to the park
• Looking at books, especially pop-up books or books with pictures of babies
• Listening and dancing to records
• Learning how to go down the stairs on her bottom 
• Letting us know what she wants by pointing or bringing us items (shoes when she wants to go outside, books she wants to read, etc)
• Waving, blowing kisses, giving high fives, doing "so big" and clapping
• Playing "I'm going to get you" (E loves to be chased and squeals with delight when she is caught)
• Playing with other kids
• Finding people's eyes, ears, nose and mouth
• Imitating those around her
• Trying to pet Walter (she is catching her more and more much to Walter's dismay)
• Coloring with crayons
• Snuggling with her blanket
