Eloise had her first Easter and her first trip to Yankton over the weekend. We traveled to Matt's grandparents' on Friday and spent the weekend with Grandpa and Grandma Moore, Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Tienken and Aunt Erica & Uncle Andy. When we arrived in Yankton the ground was green and the sun was shining.....Saturday we got caught in a snowstorm that stranded us at our hotel so Grandpa and Grandma Moore had to bring supper to us! Sunday we enjoyed a yummy Easter brunch and Great-Grandpa & Great-Grandma T's apartment before heading back to Mankato. Some highlights of the trip included swimming in the hotel pool, the Vue trying to make it up unplowed roads full of heavy, wet snow (we had to turn around and head back to the hotel part way to the apartment) and of course, meeting Great-Grandpa Tienken. Eloise thought he was pretty great. She especially like inspecting his walker! On our drive home we got some exciting news that my cousin Amy is pregnant and due in October! Eloise is pretty excited to have another cousin to play with.
Here are some pictures from our Easter weekend!

8 MONTHS
Eloise is 8 months old and showing her personality more each day! She is becoming quite independent and wants to do what she wants to do! We are very busy cruising around all day....much to Walter's dismay.
Some highlights of Eloise at 8 months:
