This Thanksgiving Matt and I have so much we are thankful for! First of all, a happy and healthy baby girl who has filled our lives with more joy than we could have imagined. We are also very thankful that my aunt is doing well and kicking cancer's butt!
For Thanksgiving we made our annual trip to SD. Matt was able to hunt several (cold) days and Eloise got to meet many of Matt's extended family included three of her great-grandparents!
Here are some photos from the week.

First Snow
Today Eloise got to experience her first snow. It actually snowed last night but the ground had a light dusting this morning when we got up. She was not too impressed with the white stuff....can't blame her!
We made an unplanned trip over to Pine Island to play with Madyson and Benjamin at Grandma Margie's. Taylor was having her friend birthday party so Mady and Ben got to sleep over at Grandma's house. We surprised Granny with a visit too!

What are these???? FEET!
Eloise has discovered the wonder of FEET this week. She loves to grab her feet any chance she gets....while playing on the floor...on the changing table....lying on her side....sitting up....any time is a great time to play with your feet. Along with discovering her feet she has figured out how to take off her socks which sure complicates my never ending battle to keep socks on her feet! Now that the weather has once and for all changed to fall (snow forecasted for tomorrow!) I may have to take drastic measures to keep her feet warm. Now off to find that roll of duct tape....

Happy Birthday Taylor!
Yesterday we celebrated Taylor's 9th Birthday......9 years old! Man, that went fast!! She got several American Girl Doll craft kits, a jewelry box (that both Ben and Madyson loved to play with), new earrings (dangly ones!) and a new vest outfit. After presents we got to choose from three different kinds of cupcakes. I exercised restraint and only had one kind....today I am regretting that decision because I will never know how good the triple chocolate or chocolate peanut-butter ones were....
Eloise had a blast, as always, playing with her cousins on her first trip to Aunt Lucy's house. She is looking forward to cookie baking in December so she can play some more!
Happy Birthday to Taylor!!
